About this Blog

I LOVE animals. I've had 5 dogs, a fish, a turtle, and at my peak crazy-cat-lady moment, I had seven cats. When I wasn't busy tending to my own animals, I'd be off with those belonging to friends and family. And when even that didn't cut it, I got a job at a humane society (and for one terrible month before that, a job at a doggie day care).

I also LOVE wild animals, which has resulted in me getting an internship at Wolf Park, being a volunteer at the Indianapolis Zoo, and jumping out of a moving vehicle to get a picture of some baby bears in Yellowstone. (Hey, I was following the lead of the adult! I knew it was wrong, but I figured she had more experience in this area, so she should know how to keep herself and the bears safe!)

This blog is just for any stories I decide I want to share. Because who doesn't want to see a picture of those baby bears!
